Summer Training Program: Start Your Own Grillz Business

This program is designed to provide hands-on experience and real-world training to individuals who want to launch their own grillz business. Led by Kailyn and Christina, participants will gain knowledge in customer interaction, molding techniques, sales strategies, and the backend operations of running a successful brand like EASE.

 

🔥 3-Month Grillz Business Training Curriculum ($1500 Value)

Month 1: Foundations & Exposure (Weeks 1–4)

 

Goal: Get participants confident with the product, brand, and customer experience.

 

Week 1: Orientation & Brand Training (Monday, June 9)

• Introduction to EASE & the Protective Mouth Grill (PMG)

• Understanding the product's purpose (retainer, fashion, protection)

• Brand tone, mission, and history

• Customer types and typical questions

 

Week 2: Product Knowledge Deep Dive (Monday, June 16)

• Materials used in PMGs

• Mold training: what makes a good vs. bad impression

• What happens after the mold? A look into the process

• Fitting and comfort basics

• General information about grillz, terminology, fitting, etc.

 

Week 3: Remote Sales Training (Monday, June 23)

• Booth/Physical set up etiquette (tone, messaging, hygiene tips for demoing)

• Role-playing customer conversations

• Pricing structure & how to explain value

• Understanding customer objections and how to handle them

 

Week 4: Virtual Market Immersion (Monday, June 30)

• Watch real Silverlake Flea Market footage with guided notes

• Practice molding technique on a friend/family member and submit a video

• Submit an impression for feedback

• Group discussion: What worked? What didn’t?

• Internal organization and how to stay on top of everything

 

Month 2: Strategy & Practice (Weeks 5–8)

 

Goal: Strengthen sales and marketing skills + begin independent interaction.

 

Week 5: Marketing 101 (Monday, July 7)

• How to create UGC and tell a brand story

• Creating short-form content (TikTok, Reels, Stories)

• Building a personal brand that compliments EASE and the PMG

• Setting up a basic business Instagram & Canva walkthrough

• Launching a website

 

Week 6: Virtual Sales Simulation (Monday, July 14)

• Virtual mock booth setup walkthrough

• Real life pricing and quotes

• How to accept virtual payments and track orders

• Reading digital cues & building trust online

• Reading physical customer cues

• Customer education 

 

Week 7: Content & Promo Day (Monday, July 21)

• Create and submit mock promos for your first day as a PMG provider

• Submit one educational video about the PMG

• Explain the PMG in a video and sell to audience

• Partnering with your audience—understanding influence

 

Week 8: Sales Drill & Feedback (Monday, July 28)

• Conduct 3 mock pitch videos (or real if you’ve got leads!)

• Submit for review

• Feedback session with Christina or Kailyn

• Optional bonus: go live with a teammate for a mock sale

 

Month 3: Launch Prep & Ownership (Weeks 9–12)

Goal: Prepare them to operate independently and monetize their own funnel.

 

Week 9: Business Setup Basics (Monday, August 4)

• Choosing a business name & domain

• Registering an LLC or Sole Prop (U.S.)

• Setting up business email.

• Why we stray from Cash/Venmo/Zelle

• Legal basics: contracts, waivers, consent forms

• Covering the basis of all potential threats
• Utilizing JotForm, Google Sheets, etc.

 

Week 10: Inventory & Pricing Strategy (Monday, August 11)

• Ordering inventory & starter kits

• Cost breakdown of PMGs (materials, labor, pricing)

• How to make money: profit margins + bundles

• Setting pricing for online and pop-up sales

• Practicing live pricing and quotes 

 

Week 11: Growth Planning (Monday, August 18)

• Scaling through content and referral strategies

• Building your own mini team or promoter network

• Online vs. local expansion tips

• Managing burnout & structuring your business for success

 

Week 12: Final Review & Certification (Monday, August 25)

• Submit your brand pitch deck

• Submit product photos or demo video

• Final quiz on product, process, and pitch
