Employee Sales Guidelines
EASE Sales Guidelines for Market Events
1. Engage Customers
- Be Friendly and Approachable: Smile and greet everyone who comes near the booth. Make eye contact and use an open body posture to invite people in.
- Initiate Conversations: Start with simple, non-intimidating questions, such as:
- “Hi! Have you heard about the Protective Mouth Grill?”
- “Would you like to see something unique and protective for your teeth?”
- “Looking for a stylish way to protect your smile?”
2. Key Selling Points to Mention
- Innovative Design: “Our grills are the only ones on the market with a built-in protective layer to shield your teeth while looking stylish.”
- Custom Fit: “Each grill is custom-made to fit your teeth perfectly, using a dental impression.”
- Dual Functionality: “You can wear it as a fashionable accessory or even as a retainer after straightening treatments!”
- Health & Style Combined: “Why choose between dental protection and looking good when you can have both?”
3. Demonstrate the Product
- Show Samples: Use sample grills to explain the protective layer and point out how it differs from regular mouth grills.
- Explain the Process: Walk them through how easy it is to take a dental impression and get their own custom-made grill.
- Highlight Customization Options: Show examples of how customers can personalize their grills (colors, designs, etc.).
4. Overcome Common Objections
Price Concern:
- Response: “Our product is both a fashion statement and a dental investment. You’re getting both a stylish accessory and long-term protection for your teeth.”
Comfort Worries:
- Response: “The protective layer is incredibly thin but durable, so you won’t even notice it’s there while it keeps your teeth safe.”
Customization Uncertainty:
- Response: “The grill is fully customized based on your dental impression, ensuring a perfect fit. Plus, you can design it to match your unique style!”
5. Close the Sale
Use a Call to Action:
If the customer shows interest, encourage them to take the next step:
- “You can order a molding kit online, or I can do it for you here. No pressure."
- “Would you like me to set you up with your own custom Protective Mouth Grill?”
Offer Incentives:
“We're running a special promotion —if you buy one, you get one free!"
6. Handling Payments
Accept Digital Payments
- At this time we do not accept cash for safety reasons.
- Be knowledgeable about using the payment processing system, including issuing receipts or handling any discounts or promotions.
Confirm the Sale:
- Always confirm the customer’s details, such as name and delivery address (if applicable), before finalizing the order.
7. Build Relationships for Future Sales
- Encourage Sign-ups: Encourage them to follow on social media to receive updates on new products or promotions.
- Offer Business Cards/Flyers**: Provide them with a business card or flyer so they can reach out later if they want to purchase in the future.
- Mention the Brand's Mission and Values: Highlight that EASE is a Black-owned business that values innovation, authenticity, and customer satisfaction.
8. Customer Service Tips
- Be Patient and Attentive: Listen to the customer’s needs and tailor your responses to address their concerns.
- Maintain Professionalism: Represent the brand with a friendly yet professional demeanor. Keep your tone positive and enthusiastic.
- Solve Problems Quickly: If a customer has an issue or question you can’t answer, let them know you’ll follow up, or refer them to a team member or Echo, the AI customer service representative.
9. Product Knowledge
Make sure you know the product inside and out. If a customer asks a technical question you’re unsure of, don’t hesitate to offer to get back to them with more information.
10. End Each Interaction Positively
Whether or not the customer makes a purchase, end the conversation on a high note:
- “Thank you for stopping by! Feel free to come back if you have more questions.”
- “I hope you have a great day! We’d love to help you get your own Protective Mouth Grill anytime.”
